School Tours
Our next school tour is scheduled for Thursday, March 18 at 8:30 am for those who would like to see the school for Round II. A PPS (Parents for Public Schools) enrollment coach will be available after the tour to help with questions regarding Round II of the enrollment process. Meet in the school library.
To accommodate the schedules and needs of touring families, Miraloma is offering several options for families to see the school. Children are welcome to accompany parents and guardians on tours.
Podcast: For those who would like an introduction to the school and/or are unable to physically visit the school, a podcast is available on this website for your viewing. Download this podcast onto your MP3 player and bring it with you if you are coming for a self-guided tour.
Self-guided tours: This option provides flexibility for those who enjoy exploring on their own, whether it's a quick walk through the school in a few minutes or taking your time to read what's posted on the bulletin boards. The podcast of the school on this website can be downloaded to your MP3 player and used to guide you through the school. Otherwise, a guide booklet is available here to assist and inform as you walk through the school. Copies will also be available at the school. Parent volunteers will be available to answer your questions. Opportunities to meet the principal are scheduled on select dates. Tour times are scheduled 8:30-9:30 or 9:00-10:00. Saturday morning guided tour: Parent led guided tours begin at 10:00 am. You will be given an introduction of the school, walk through the school, and meet our principal.

Early evening guided tours: Parent led tours begin at 5:30. You will be given an introduction of the school, walk through the school, and meet our principal. After the tour, you are welcome to join the monthly PTA meeting on November 17, and the School Site Council meeting on December 7, starting at 6:30 pm. This is an opportunity to observe the school community in action.

Inclusion Q&A session: Miraloma Elementary School will have a special Q&A session on Friday, November 20, 9:30-10:00, for families interested in the school's Inclusion program. Inclusion teachers will be available to answer questions. Please note that this session does not include a school tour.
