Miraloma Read-A-Thon
Dear Miraloma families and supporters:
Welcome to another fun and exciting Miraloma Spring Read-a-thon. The read-a-thon fosters positive reading habits, promotes literacy and financially supports our school's art curriculum.
The Miraloma Arts Programs interactively engages our children in the process of writing, editing, publishing and performing the written word. A key component of our program is the art workshops in music, dance, poetry, ceramics and visual arts. These workshops help our children recognize the value of their own imaginations as an essential tool for learning, thinking and connecting with the world around them. With the Read-a-thon, our children READ for ART!
Your financial pledge supports a Miraloma student to grow more literate and creative. 100% of the proceeds go directly to Miraloma and are fully tax deductible!! Every pledge counts, no matter how small.
Please consider a small donation; this is a great opportunity to CELEBRATE and REWARD each child's good reading efforts; it is deeply gratifying for each child to directly raise money for the school. Remember to check the list of Corporate Sponsors that have a matching funds program — it's a great way to add a little boost to your donation.
