Fund a Need
The joyous sounds of morning sing along. The dirty fingernails & new appetites from the garden. The snake dance, learning a pinch pot, writing a poem. All these experiences are brought to you by SFartsED at Miraloma Elementary. Help us fund SFartsED. Our goal is to raise $10,000, about half the SFartsED budget, between now and the night of our action, April 24th. This is our need. Please help us fund it.
What is Fund a Need?
It is a direct appeal for donations (Fund) to support part of our children’s education (the Need). You might ask, aren’t there many needs, given our current economic crisis? The answer is yes, but guided by our school site council and our principal, we have chosen to fund SFartsED.
How can you help?
-
By publicizing Fund a Need, letting your friends and family know about it. They can contribute via our website. There will even be a “Fund a Need” link with our auction catalog with a convenient “Donate Now” button.
-
By talking about Fund a Need with your friends and family at Miraloma. Make sure people know about it. This is a way you can directly help the programs your child receives AND it is a 100% tax deductible contribution.
-
By contributing at the auction. The last lot of the live auction will be Fund a Need. The auctioneer will ask for will ask for pledges at varying levels stating at $1000 and working her way down. Everyone can contribute at some level. If you are unable to stay until the end of the live auction, Fund a Need will have a display and you can sign up to contribute.
Please take this opportunity to participate!

Many thanks to Miraloma's own beloved children's book author Oliver Chin, who has donated $363.36 from the sale of his books to the Miraloma PTA.

Just complete this form and return with your check payable to "Miraloma PTA" to the parent box in the main office by May 14. Oliver will even inscribe your books!
Oliver's stories make great read-alouds for your family and great gifts for friends. Our students love to hear them read at story time in the library - thanks again to Oliver's generosity, we have a complete set! Learn more at www.immedium.com. |

No Request Policy & Parent Feedback
|
"No Request Policy" is in place to support a fair system of class placement. Please do not put teachers in an uncomfortable and unfair position by formally OR informally mentioning a preference for a specific teacher. They each work diligently and thoughtfully to determine class assignments for your children for each year and truly are the best at what they do!
Miraloma parents/guardians have the opportunity to provide feedback about their child through the Parent Input Class Assignment Form.
