Print a Donor Letter & Donor Form to give to your favorite merchants. Fill one out with your own donations for the auction (parties, services, etc). Drop forms off in the Auction Box located at the office.
You can drop off your tangible auction donations at the "Fan Room" on
Wednesday & Friday AM after kid drop off & Thursday PM at kid pick up.

Buy your auction tickets today! Doing so will ensure you're in the system and we'll have a bidder number ready for you on the night of the auction, thus drastically reducing lines at check-in. Please email us at with any questions.
Seeking Wine Donations for Wine Chest Auction Item
As part of our auction this year, we will be selling chances to win an "instant wine cellar" of at least 50 bottles of fine wine from all over the world.
We are currently seeking donations from:
- your personal wine collections
- businesses from which you buy wine
Can you please help by donating one or two bottles - or more if you are able?
We are seeking bottles that retail for at least $25. Both reds and whites. All varietals, all countries.
If you are a member of any wine clubs, be sure to hit them up for a donation!

Haiti Shoe Drive

Girl Scout Troop 32215 and Miraloma Service Community is collecting slightly worn shoes to benefit Haiti and donating them to www.SironaCares.org.
Sunday March 21st: Sirona Cares Volunteer Day, 9 - noon. Come help sort items to be shipped to Haiti. Sign-up sheet can be found on the Miraloma Community Service Board or contact Suzanne Schwartz

| Parent/Teacher Conference |
Parent/Teacher-Guardian conferences will be held from Monday, March 22nd through Friday, March 26th. School will be dismissed one (1) hour early, with student dismissal at 12:50pm. As a result, students riding the buses will be arriving at their stops one hour earlier than the regularly scheduled time, students in after school programs will go to their after school program one hour early, and students being picked up will need to be gathered at 12:50 in the regular location.
Teachers will be scheduling and sending home conference appointment confirmations during the next week. To assist them, complete and return this form to teachers by no later than today! |

Calling All Student Artists!
Students: The Annual Miraloma Student Art Show needs your artwork. You can choose a piece from the past, a project from school, or create something new! Please select a piece of artwork for display, bring it to school, and submit it to your teacher by Friday March 26.
Artwork can be of any medium:
watercolors, oil pastel, collage, mixed media, colored pencil, charcoal, photography, fiber arts, crayon, mobiles, tempera, ceramic, sculpture, “junk a, jewelry

Oliver Chin
Many thanks to Miraloma's own beloved children's book author Oliver Chin, who has donated $363.36 from the sale of his books to the Miraloma PTA. If you missed getting your copy of The Year of the Tiger, Julie Black Belt, Welcome to Monster Isle or any of his other wonderful titles at the book fair, it's not too late! Just complete this form and return with your check payable to "Miraloma PTA" to the parent box in the main office by May 14. Oliver will even inscribe your books!
Oliver's stories make great read-alouds for your family and great gifts for friends. Our students love to hear them read at story time in the library - thanks again to Oliver's generosity, we have a complete set! Learn more at www.immedium.com.

Thank you to the Buddy Club for hosting a Miraloma Benefit Show. We sold 46 tickets, enjoyed an entertaining Sunday afternoon show, and raised $230 for our school!

Story Camp is a creative, energized series of workshops that include writing, improvisation, art and trust games and exercises. The primary objectives of Story Camps are to learn how to tell good stories, to boost confidence and to make new friends. Simultaneously, we sneak in some academic study of writing composition, public speaking and collaboration. But, we keep that on the down low lest it starts to feel a bit too much like s-c-h-o-o-l.
