| Watch the Chicks in Ms. Howard's Class
|
Watch this VIDEO of the first chick newly born, and the second chick cracking his (or her) shell. This happened in Ms. Howard's class Sunday night. Jennifer Howard quickly notified her parents via email, and many parents and students saw the second chick hatch via webcam from their homes. Monday morning, she hosted a party in her classroom, which many kids and adults attended.

| Student Council |
The Student Council is sponsoring a reusable stainless steel water bottle campaign to replace plastic bottles. The funds from the campaign will be used for green projects at school.

In addition, the Council would like to help with Haitian earthquake relief. They will be providing containers for classrooms and will also have a coin collection container on Fridays when they are pre-selling the water bottles. Remember, every penny counts!
