SFUSD: Student Assignment Redesign
The San Francisco Board of Education is changing the way students are assigned to schools for 2011. Learn about the options under consideration and share your questions and ideas. See Meeting Schedule in English, Spanish and Chinese.
Last planned meeting is on January 14 (Thursday), 6 pm to 8 pm at Francisco Middle School, 2190 Powell Street (North Beach)
If you can not make it to the meeting, you can complete an ONLINE SURVEY.

Earn Book Credit for our School! - West Portal Book Store
West Portal Book Store Sale (80 West Portal Avenue) January 15th through 18th (Fri - Mon). Four days from 10am - 9pm! 25% of purchases (15% for gift certificates) is book credit for our school. Our budget currently does not allow for books, these events keep our kids in fresh titles. Tell your family and friends! Just mention "Miraloma Elementary" at time of purchase.

Miraloma Elementary School hosts a FUNDRAISER at The Buddy Club!
The Buddy Club and Miraloma Elementary are proud to present a family fun fundraiser featuring entertainer, Robert Strong - recently voted "San Francisco's Funniest Prop Comic."
Date: Sunday, March 7, 2010
Time: 10:30 am arrival; 10:45 priority admission; 11 am - noon "Showtime"
Place: The Randall Museum Theater, 199 Museum Way @ Roosevelt Way
Cost: $10 per person (children 2 and under are free)
Miraloma Elementary will get $5.00 of every ticket sold through Miraloma.
The show does sell out so buy your tickets early and help raise funds for our school!

Miraloma 2010 Auction
The Miraloma Elementary's 2010 Auction will take place on Saturday, April 24th at the historic Verdi Club in the Potrero District of San Francisco.
All auction information and documents are now available on the Miraloma website and on the Auction Bulletin board. Please email Katrin Robb your questions and ideas.

More Fundraising Opportunities!
  • Please recycle cell phones, ink cartridges, laptops, chargers in the three tiered plastic storage unit in main office.
  • Register with escrip if you buy a 2010 Volvo the school gets $1000, register debit/credit cards etc.
  • H & R Block certificates will be in on the fundraising bulletin board, $25 discount for you, $25 for the school, discounts for our teachers.

San Francisco Boys Chorus - Audtions
Saturday January 16. No experience necessary. Vocal Training, Music Appreciation, Self-Confidence, Teamwork, Self-Dicipline.
Perform with the San Francisco Opera and at official civic ceremonies. Sing on international tours. Appear on television and record CDs. Financial Assistance Available.
