The time to start preparing for the Miraloma 2010 Auction is here! As many of you know, our first annual evening adults-only auction last May was an amazing success - we raised over $35,000 and had a fun time doing it! This year we hope to build on the success of last year both as a fundraiser as well as a community building event. In order to do that, WE NEED YOUR HELP! Where & When: The Verdi Club on April 24th, 2010. Doors open and bidding starts at 5:30pm. Live Auction starts at 9:00pm. Food & drinks will be provided. Information on tickets will follow in January. How to Help: Please read the Family Handbook and FAQs to find out about the different ways you can contribute. To donate items, please print and fill out the Donation Form and Donor Letter as instructed. To get sponsors involved, print and fill out the Sponsorship & Advertisement Form. Soon to Come: Auction website and an Auction bulletin board with hard copies of all auction documents. Please email Katrin Robb your questions and ideas. Thank you for doing your part in making the Miraloma 2010 Auction a great success. We look forward to seeing everyone there! Thanks, Katrin Robb, Miraloma 2010 Auction Chair & the Miraloma 2010 Auction Team Volunteers Needed for School Tours! Please contact Julie Wise if you can help out on any of the following days:

![]() Miraloma Poem
Maple leaf-- red, yellow, brown, wrinkly, yet soft and bumpy all around, speckled, cold, pointy, small. Maple leaf- A beating heart, a racing brain, a kingdom of gold, presents opened on a sunny summer's day, a colorful piece of paper stained with coffee, pebbles shining in the moonlight as the wind sweeps by. In my dreams you are the dark and lonely town I get lost in every night at bedtime. You are a flame that will never go out. By Hope, Room 16 |
