Miraloma For The Kids (MFTK) - Direct Giving Campaign
Miraloma For The Kids”, MFTK, is our direct giving campaign; it is a critical tool that helps us bridge the $200,000 funding gap between what the Miraloma program offers our students and the state funds we actually receive.
Among many things, the “MFTK” fund helps give our students exposure to various arts and sports programs, individual tutoring and counseling, a library and robust science and technology programming.
Our school needs to raise $571 per student for our budget to remain intact. We are hoping to have 100% participation this year for the annual fund. Consider a one time donation or about $75 a month for the remainder of this school year by clicking the "Donate Now" button in this newsletter.

Principal's Chat Starting at 8:15am
This Friday, fifteen minutes earlier than usual. Come chat with Mr. Machado. Ask questions and hear what other parents/guardians have to say.

MEEP is Introducing the New Program “Take my Word for it”
This program has been successful in several schools in the East Bay. We have contracted the program to come to Miraloma and to work with our students. See program description and curriculum overview.
The classes will be on Thursday and Friday afternoons from 1:50-3:00 p.m.
(Please Note: Parents do not have to sign-up for both sessions. They can sign up for once a week.) We are offering this class for our 3-5th grade students.
The minimum students we need is 12 and maximum 15.
The cost is $22.00 per class for MEEP students and $25.00 for non-meep students. This class is open to all students at Miraloma.
Dates are from January-May
Registrations will begin in December
Parents can stop by our office or e-mail us at Meepgo@msn.com to obtain more info.
