Inclusive Schools Week (ISW)
2011 Inclusive Schools Week is December 5-9, 2011

Miraloma’s focus for ISW 2011 is to teach around feelings of inclusion and exclusion and the idea of visible and invisible differences based on our ongoing social-emotional, TRIBES and bully-free curriculum.  In addition to the schedule below, students will participate in a school-wide project and themed library readings.

  • Morning Circle – ISW Announcements

  • 10:05AM - Special Performance & Assembly: Axis Dance Company (gym) {parents are welcome to attend around the periphery}
    [Families may find it helpful to read Axis' Teachers Guide for guidance on talking with kids about the performance]
Fri 12/9:
  • Morning Circle – Themed song with Ms. Rhonda
  • 5:30-8PM - Family Feast!: potluck of foods from family traditions (gym & cafeteria)
